This was once the study of the family's founder, Giovanni Ferrandi, who from here would count the boats laden with lemons as they returned to harbour. Today it is our most spacious room, with its original painted ceilings, hand-restored Venetian terrazzo floors and three French windows opening onto Lake Garda.
The separate sitting room invites you to linger; the private terrace is made for long, slow breakfasts and for the hour when the sun slips down behind Sirmione. In the Carrara marble bathroom, a freestanding bath looks out over the water.
